According to statistics from the World Health Organization, there is information that mental health problems are increasing worldwide.

- Changing social conditions
- The changing nature of life stress

For the situation in Thailand, the latest data from the Department of Mental Health, Ministry of Public Health, indicates that there are more patients receiving treatment in the mental health system, especially depression.
